The Rector of UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Nikolay Milkov signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

"It is a privilege for me to have the opportunity to sign this Memorandum of Cooperation with the University of National and World Economy on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The reason is not only that it is about our cooperation with a prestigious university but I am also proud of the fact that I am a graduate of UNWE and I was also a lecturer at this university", said the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Nikolay Milkov and outlined: “The cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UNWE has a rich tradition in areas of mutual interest. The UNWE participates in various projects related to the Western Balkans under the Development Programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Last year projects related to the Republic of North Macedonia and Kosovo were completed in order to improve the working capacity of small and medium-sized enterprises. This year the projects related to Bosnia and Herzegovina continue. In parallel, projects in the field and with the support of the Japan Development Fund are also developed and it significantly expands the scope. However, when we talk about extending the scope, the memorandum that we have signed today will be a very powerful instrument in this regard. It has very good prospects and opens very good opportunities for the development of relations between our institutions”.
