Framework Agreement of Cooperation between the UNWE and Customs Agency

The Rector of UNWE Prof. D.Sc. (Econ.) Statty Stattev and the Director of the Customs Agency Georgy Kostov signed a Framework Agreement of Cooperation between both institutions (in the pictures below).

The cooperation between the UNWE and the Customs Agency is longstanding and fruitful. The signing of the Agreement will expand our cooperation, will unite the academic knowledge and professional expertise of both institutions and will give opportunity to develop our partnership in activities of mutual interest, said the Rector Prof. Stattev.

As the largest and the eldest economic university in Bulgaria the UNWE is the major source of professionals for the Customs Agency. The Agreement signed today will give new opportunities to continue our traditional cooperation, pointed out Georgy Kostov.

The Institute of Postgraduate Studies (IPS) at UNWE and the National Training Center of the Customs Agency will organize joint courses for qualification of Agency employees.

Representatives of the Customs Agency will participate in presentations to students, in lectures, seminars, conferences, meetings and other events related to the customs control and legislation in the condition of the Bulgarian membership in the EU organized by the UNWE and lecturers and other representatives of the university will take part in expertise, consultations, statistical and other kind of surveys and events organized by the Agency.
