I would like to express my thankfulness to the UNWE for the invitation and the opportunity to implement a journey in the Spanish geography and literary tradition together, outlined Prof. Ríos and determined the topic as a change from the time to the space and a kind of debate between the scientific fields where the literary area is the major community.

The lecturer examined the joint activity of cartographers and literary persons estimating the appropriate areas for certain activity and analysis of literary works. She also presented the cities of London, Paris, Madrid and Barcelona described in a number of literary works of XIX and XX century. One and the same urban area in the process of development described in various ways gives an idea of the type of literature that reflects it. Digitalized literary extracts, cites from certain novels and authors are plotted on the physical maps and thus the digital atlas is expanded, specified Prof. Ríos.
