1st General Assembly of the European Grouping on Territorial Cooperation H.E.L.I.C.A.S

The 1^st General Assembly of the European Grouping on Territorial Cooperation H.E.L.I.C.A.S was held on 29 June 2017, with the participation of dozens of representatives of the participating bodies. The General Assembly was implemented at the Senate’s Hall of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki following an invitation by the Mayor of Thessaloniki Mr. Boutaris.   

The General Assembly, taking into consideration the need for full representation of all the components of the Quadruple Helix, decided on its Board of Directors, to which, with wide consent, were elected: Mr Ioannis Boutaris, Mayor of Thessaloniki, Mr Kyrizoglou Lazaros, Mayor of Ampelokipi – Menemeni, President of Regional Association of the Municipalities of Central Macedonia, Mr Statty Stattev, Rector of the University of National and World Economy – Sofia, Mr Tonikidis Pavlos, President of the Chamber of Kilkis, Vice President of the Union of Hellenic Chambers, Mr Daniilidis Simos, Mayor of Neapoli – Sykies, Mr Ioannidis Lefteris, Mayor of Kozani, Mr Domouchtzidis Fotis, Mayor of Sidiki, Mr Zarotiadis Grigoris, Associate Prof. at the A.U.TH., Mr Belidis Thanasis, Professor at the Technological Educational Institution of Thessaloniki, Mr David Konstantinos, Professor at the Technological Educational Institution of Central Macedonia, Mr Andreadis Vasileios, Vice Mayor of Kordelio – Evosmos, Mrs Pantelidou Ioanna, Head of the Programming Directory of the Municipality of Thermi, Mr Topaloglou Lefteris, Director of the Regional Association of Municipalities of Western Macedonia.  

With the completion of the General Assembly, the Board of Directors came to a meeting, where it unanimously elected: Mr Ioannis Boutaris, Mayor of Thessaloniki, as a President, Mr Statty Stattev Rector of the University of National and World Economy of Sofia as Vice President, Mr Tonikidis Pavlos, President of the Chamber of Kilkis as Vice President, Mr Zarotiadis Grigoris, Associate Prof. at the A.U.TH. as Secretary, Mr Topaloglou Lefteris, Director of the Regional Association of Municipalities of Western Macedonia as Accountant (in the picture below).
