Meeting with The Ambassador of The Republic of Korea to Bulgaria

The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bulgaria H.E. Mr. Shin Meng-ho delivered a public lecture at the university. At the meeting in Scientific Councils Hall attended Prof. D.Sc. (Econ.) Bistra Boeva, Director of the Institute of Economics and Policies, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivan Stoychev, Head of the International Economic Relations and Business Department, lecturers and students.

In his presentation H.E. Mr. Shin Meng-ho made an overview of historic and economic development of the Republic of Korea, outlined the parallels in Bulgarian history and economic life and spoke about the geopolitical destiny of both countries predetermined by their geographic location.

The Ambassador examined also some more important factors for the economic development of Korea and the role of business for the economic growth of the country. In conclusion he pointed out that the progress in economy is the only way to be overcome the geopolitical destiny by both countries.  

H.E. Mr. Shin Meng-ho expressed his confidence in the perspective future  of the cooperation between Bulgaria and Korea.
