Joint Scientific Research Project between The UNWE and Chinese University

In the 14^th session of the Bulgarian-Chinese Commission on Scientific and Technological Cooperation 2014-2016 organized by the Scientific Research Fund to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria were successfully ranked 12 projects from the submitted 40 ones in 5 scientific fields. In the priority field of Information and Communication Technologies was rated only a project proposed by the joint team of scientists from the UNWE and the Shenyang University of Chemical Technology (SUCT), China.

The project title is: A Conceptual Model of Cloud Information System Assessing the Risk of Natural Disasters. The duration of the project is 2 years.   

In the ambitious programme of joint project is provided also the mobility of participants between Bulgaria and China, organization of two thematic conferences exchanging the host for their conduction, publishing of the research results in specialized scientific editions in Asia.

In the team of UNWE are included participants from the Information Technologies and Communications Department and from the Real Estate Property Department as well as representatives of the Institute of System Engineering and Robotics (ISER) to the Bulgarian Academy of Science (BAS). Head of the project from the UNWE is Prof. Dr. Dimitar Velev and leading researchers are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Geogy Zabunov and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Plamena Zlateva.
