Agreement of Cooperation between The UNWE and The Bulgarian National Employment Agency

A Framework Agreement between the UNWE and the Bulgarian National Employment Agency was signed by the Rector Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev and Dr. Asen Angelov, Executive Director of the Agency.

At the signing attended members of the Rectors Council as well as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivan Stoychev, Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Studies, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jordan Bliznakov, Director of the Inter-University Center for Career Development, Assoc. Prof. Rosen Kirilov from the International Technologies  and Communications Department.

During the meeting

Prof. Stattev outlined that the Employment Agency could help for the internships of students from the UNWE and it would be exclusively important for their practical education. Some of the activities provisioned in the Agreement will be implemented by the Inter-University Center for Career Development and the Institute of Postgraduate Studies including also the start of new programmes, declared the Rector.

All opportunities for work in the country and abroad regardless of whether they are short-term or permanent and the various meetings with employers which the Agency can implement will be also opportunities for the student community of UNWE. Programmes for paid internships can also be worked out, pointed out Dr. Angelov.

In the document is provisioned also obtaining of information about the current internships and workplaces at the Employment Agency suitable for students and graduates from the University. The cooperation between both institutions is based also on the conduction of scientific, business and academic events, lectures, seminars, conferences, trainings, implementation of joint projects, etc.
