Representatives of Our University Met with Pupils from Burgas

Representatives of UNWE met with pupils from the Trade High School, G. S. Rakovski Romance Languages High school, Acad. Nikola Obreshkov Mathematics and Natural Sciences High School, Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov Professional High School of Tourism, Goethe German Language High School, Konstantin Fotinov Vocational High School of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Acad. N. D. Zelinsky Vocational High School of Chemical Technology and Bishop Konstantin Preslavsky Secondary School in Burgas.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Georgy Nikolov, Head of the Regional Development Department, Chief Assist. Dr. Nikola Tanakov, lecturer, and Artyom Glushchuk, Doctoral student at the the Regional Development Department, presented the specialties provided by the UNWE and explained to the young people the conditions, deadlines, and ways to apply. They also paid attention to the various opportunities for development after graduation from the UNWE.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Geory Nikolov presented the partnerships of the University as well as the projects and internship in which every student could apply and participate.

The prospective students were also given information about the prospective student competitions and contests annualy organized by the UNWE.     

The secondary school pupils learned that the UNWE has the highest institutional accreditation among Bulgarian universities /9.80/ an it has at dispolsal modern equipped auditoriums, 12 dormitories with 5100 places, and all conditions for studying and living and it provides excellent opportunities for sports in the Bonsist Sports Complex.       

For a consecutive year the University of National and World Economy was awarded the Academic Oscar. The rating system of higher education institutions defines the UNWE as "Higher education institution with the highest institutional accreditation according to National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency /NEAA/ and the most prestigious higher education institution in the professional field of Economics according to the employers and lecturers in higher education institutions".

The pupils received valuable advices how to choose their future profession, as well as promotional materials with important information about the courses, deadlines, and application opportunities. At the end of the meeting they also had the opportunity to discuss issues concerning their successful post-secondary career.
