Open Lecture to Students Studying Marketing by Jonathan Bayat from the US Embassy in Bulgaria

Jonathan Bayat, Administrative Affairs Counselor at the U.S. Embassy in Bulgaria, delivered a public lecture about the marketing to domestic audiences to students of specialitites Marketing and Marketing and Strategic Planning taught in English.

The invitation to Mr. Bayat was addressed by the Marketing and Strategic Planning Department. The diplomat was met by the Rector of UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mihail Musov, Vice Rector for Research and International Affairs of UNWE, also took part in the meeting.

The event was hosted by Prof. Dr. Krasimir Marinov, Deputy Head of the Marketing and Strategic Planning Department, and Chief Assist. Dr. Hristina Boycheva from the same Department.

During the presentation of the guest Prof. Krasimir Marinov emphasized the tradition of the Department to meet the student audience with prominent personalities from the public and economic life, from the business and non-profit organizations, who can enrich the knowledge and thinking of students with their own understanding and points of view.

In the open lecture Mr. Bayat presented his experience and understanding of marketing to domestic audiences to the students. In an attractive and engaging manner, the guest explained the current understanding of the content of this concept and the benefits of its application. Of particular interest to the audience were the lecturer's recommendations on the practical application of marketing to domestic audiences based on his experience in the US embassies in Bulgaria and other countries. The lecture ended with an intensive session of questions and answers.
