Lecturers from the Accounting and Analysis Department Participated in an Important International Forum on Economics, Management and Business
Prof. Dr. Daniela Feschian and Chief Assist. Dr. Radka Andasarova, lecturers at the Accounting and Analysis Department at UNWE, were the only Bulgarian researchers admitted to participate in the 8th International Scientific Conference on Economics, Management & Business 2023 organized by the Management and Economics Faculty of the University of Prešov, Slovak Republic and under the patronage of the Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic.

Dr. Radka Andasarova presented the results of the scientific research on the project Financial Reports of the Public Sector Enterprises in the Republic of Bulgaria in the Conditions of the Conceptual Framework for Financial Reporting in the Public Sector with Head Prof. Dr Daniela Feschian and members of the research team - Chief Assist. Dr. Radka Andasarova, Chief Assist. Dr. Yassen Daskalov, Alexandrina Parvanova, fourth year student of Accounting and Analysis and Kristian Draganov, fourth year student of Accounting and Analysis.

The paper on the Financial Reporting in the Public Sector in the Republic of Bulgaria under the Conditions of European Harmonization and Global Legitimacy of IPSAS provoked great interest. Some of the proposals are based on more than 20 years of research and indicate the ways to improve the accounting in the public sector in order to achieve harmonization with the EU accounting framework.

The 8th edition of the Conference was attended by more than 120 participants from 25 countries and 4 continents. The papers included in the Conference Programme were anonymously reviewed by two independent reviewers from the International Editorial Board. The representatives of UNWE have already received several invitations to publish their papers in foreign journals that are indexed in world known databases of scientific information.
