For the First Time in Bulgaria a Course on the Music Business as a Creative Industry Was Held at the UNWE

For the first time in Bulgaria in the period 12-16 June 2023 at the UNWE was held a professional-academic course on the Music Business as a Creative Industry organized jointly by the Bulgarian Association of Music Producers /BAMP/ and the Institute of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer /IIPTT "Prof. Dr. Borislav Borisov" at our University.  The Forum aroused a very high interest as it was attended by well-known professionals from the music business - performers, producers, experts from the professional circles, academic speakers from Bulgaria and abroad, music publishers, record companies, concert and festival organizers and international artist managers.

Substantial, economic, legal and managerial aspects of the music business as a leading creative industry were presented with a special focus on the various participants in it - authors, music publishers, artists, record companies, managers, promoters, intellectual property rights and their realization.

The participants in the course were awarded certificates by the Rector of UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov after his welcoming speech and greetings by Prof. Dr. Maria Markova, Deputy Director for Research of IISTT and Head of the Intellectual Property Department.
