The Rector Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Company Accenture Bulgaria
The Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov and Peter Tornev, Managing Director of Accenture Bulgaria Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

"The UNWE as the largest business university conducts research and educates students in all areas of the socio-economic life. "We have also opened two new specialties in the field of Informatics - Cyber Security and e-Government and Computer Processing and Data Analysis/(Data Science/”, said the Rector Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov and added: "The policy of UNWE is to develop close cooperation with the business and to make training closer to practice. It gives many opportunities and advantages to our students to touch the real business environment, we have already successfully implemented business academies with Kaufland and A1. I believe that with Accenture Bulgaria we have a great potential for a successful partnership not only in terms of organizing internship programmes and academies but also for working on joint research projects in the future".
Peter Tornev presented Accenture Bulgaria and outlined: "We are happy to enter this partnership with the UNWE. We believe that the experience gained as a global company will be beneficial not only for the development of future talents at UNWE but also for the institution itself. For twenty years our company has established itself as a visionary and it publishes key technology trends and forecasts for the business development on a global scale. It is an additional aspect in which we can collaborate because we believe we should have a holistic view of the future regardless of the field in which we intend to develop".

The document states that the UNWE and Accenture Bulgaria Ltd. will cooperate by informing the UNWE students about internships and public events on presenting the work of the company.
The scope of the Memorandum also includes exchange of information and publications on activities and major events held by Accenture Bulgaria Ltd. and the UNWE as well as assistance for participation of company representatives in presentations to students, in lectures, seminars, conferences, meetings or other events organized by the University.
There is also an opportunity for partnership in the preparation of joint projects and their subsequent implementation and assistance in conducting training in Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degree programmes at UNWE for specialists and employees of Accenture Bulgaria Ltd.
The company will assist for the participation of lecturers and other representatives of UNWE in meetings, lectures, expertise, consultations, statistical and other studies and events organized by Accenture Bulgaria Ltd.
Cooperation through mutual assistance in other specific activities and events such as academies of mutual interest is also part of the agreement.
Coordinator for the implementation of the Memorandum from the UNWE is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alexander Hristov, Lecturer at the International Economic Relations and Business Department, and Coordinators from Accenture Bulgaria Ltd. are Maria Gulyashka, Account Manager and Maya Klevtsova, Marketing Manager.
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Tsvetana Stoyanova, Vice Rector for Institutional and Business Cooperation and Student Policies of UNWE and Tsvetomira Hristova, Director, Operations Center, Accenture Bulgaria.
