The Musician Lyubo Kirov: Success Is If the Comfort of What You Do Is Still Your Greatest Pleasure

103 years of UNWE and 30 years of First Investment Bank were celebrated with a Special Spring Party with Lyubo Kirov - the winner of the prize for BG Performer of BG Radio Awards. The concert was a gift from the bank for the largest economic university in Southeastern Europe.

"This event is a proof of our fruitful cooperation both with the business and culture", said from the stage before the beginning of the concert the Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov. "I am glad that together with our long-standing partner - the First Investment Bank, where work many UNWE alumni, we organized this exciting event - a concert by the incredible performer Lyubo Kirov for our students, lecturers and officials.

Blagovest Malamov, one of the Directors of First Investment Bank and graduate of UNWE, expressed his thankfulness to the University for the hard work and diligence to preserve knowledge, develop it and pass it on to students. "I am proud to be here in front of you and to give start of the concert which is part of our work together." He explained that the First Investment Bank is one of the most innovative and dynamic financial institutions in the country and "we believe that you, the students, are our future with your dreams, ideas and energy. It's not a coincidence that students choose our bank because we strive to be one of the first to introduce the most innovative trends and technologies in the banking. We share with the UNWE Managing body the creed that together we should create even more opportunities for young people to develop, to stay in the country, to show their potential and together we should prepare the future professionals and the future of Bulgaria".

Lyubo Kirov shared to a reporter of the UNWE Newspaper: "The artist must learn to take inspiration, to credit the content and to be able to market it. He has to set the agenda, not the audience. Otherwise, the artist cannot add any value. Success is if the comfort of what you do is still your greatest pleasure". He said he don`t trust the musicians who say they make music just for themselves - "that's an enormous selfishness".
