UNWE Lecturers Presented the University at the International Erasmus+ Week 2023 in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia

Prof. Dr. Daniela Koch-Kozhuharova from the Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics Department and Prof. Dr. Polya Katsamunska from the Public Administration Department took part in the International Erasmus+ Week organized by Singidunum University in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, during the period 8-12 May 2023.

Singidunum University in Belgrade is a private university established only 10 years ago. Today, the university educates more than 1 000 international students from all over the world in Bachelor`s and Master`s degree programmes in English accredited under the Law on Higher Education in the Republic of Serbia, and students obtain an internationally recognized diploma.

International Erasmus+ Week of Singidunum University brought together in Belgrade lecturers and researchers from Serbia, France, Spain, Bulgaria, Turkey, Albania, North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The host of this international academic forum - Singidunum University provided for the participants a rich and intensive programme full of numerous educational and cultural events both at the University campuses in Belgrade and at the campus in Novi Sad where the University has established a center for off-campus training.

All working sessions and cultural and historical activities included in the programme have an objective to stimulate and promote mobility, global education and cultural diversity at Singidunum University. Along with it the International Erasmus+ Week 2023 programme at Singidunum University provided a great opportunity to create new academic contacts and joint research endeavours. At the closing ceremony, besides certificates, prizes were awarded to the foreign university lecturers for high school pupils who won language competitions as well as to their teachers. After the ceremony foreign students and lecturers presented their countries through brochures, T-shirts, various souvenirs, typical food, drinks, etc.
