Two Women - Alumni of UNWE Are Appointed at High Posts

Two women - alumni of UNWE change their posts in the Managing body of the National Statistical Institute (NSI). Reneta Indjova who has been the first Woman-Prime Minister of Bulgaria (since October 1994 to January 1995) will take the lead of the National Statistical Institute by the government decision and the current Chairwoman Mariana Kotzeva will occupy the post of a Special Adviser at the Directorate-General for Eurostat to the European Commission.

Reneta Indjova has graduated the Higher Economic Institute “Karl Marx”, speciality Political Economy and Sociology.

Assoc. Prof. Mariana Kotzeva who becomes the Bulgarian woman at the highest post in the EU administration has graduated UNWE as an economist on social-economic information, speciality Statistics and Econometrics.
