The Rector Bestowed Awards on Distinguished Insurers – Alumni of UNWE

The Rector of UNWE Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev was among the official guests at the ceremony on awarding the annual awards for Insurer of the Year, Pension Company of the Year and Insurance Broker of the Year for 2016. The most prestigious prizes in the insurance sector were conferred for the ninth consecutive year.

Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Neno Pavlov, Chairman of the Management Board of Prof. Dr. Velislav Gavriisky Foundation presented its Awards bestowed for the 19^th time – for Overall Contribution to the Bulgarian Insurance Development and for Overall Contribution to the Insurance Systems in Bulgaria as well as for Special Contribution to the Insurance Broker Development.

Prof. Stattev bestowed the award for Overall Contribution to the Bulgarian Insurance Development to Ralitsa Again-Guri, Deputy Chairwoman of the Commission on Financial Supervision, Head of the Insurance Supervision Department, Bachelor and Master of International Economic Relations of UNWE.

The Rector of UNWE Stattev awarded also the prize for Overall Contribution to the Insurance Systems in Bulgaria to Milen Markov, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Director of Saglasie Pension Company, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Texim Bank and Master of Finance of UNWE.

The insurers awarded by Prof. Dr. Velislav Gavriisky Foundation obtained specially made statuettes of Nike - the goddess of victory, Honorary diplomas and badges of the Foundation patron.
