Meeting on The Skills for Success: Effective Time Management

Skills for Success: Effective Time Management was the topic of the event held in the Large Conference Hall and organized by the Inter-University Center for Career Development (IUCCD) and Teaching Together Programme. At the meeting attended Assoc. Prof. Yordan Bliznakov, Director of IUCCD, Peter Proykov and Elena Radeva from the programme Teaching Together, guests and students.

Assoc. Prof. Blizankov presented the lecturers and the Programme which trains new leaders, people with ideas who are ready to inspire the bystanders and to bring a change with their initiatives.

Peter Proykov asked the students several questions related to the arrangement of their personal time. More than 40% of the 15 years old teenagers in our country are functionally illiterate and 22% of the youth people don`t study and don`t work, pointed out the lecturer. It depends to great extent on their social-economic status that places the pupils in “the trap of law expectations”. “For changing the situation we need ambitious people to show them how to succeed, formulated the objective of Teaching Together Programme Mr. Proykov.

We want to show you the best way of managing your time, outlined Elena Radeva. She examined the time as a resource and the advantages of its effective management, she gave some ideas for identifying and eliminating the so called “time thieves”, specified the strategies and technics of useful time management for personal and organizational purposes. Radeva pointed out as an example the 4-Hour Workweek of “productivity guru” Tim Ferriss and lots of other famous people who had successfully regulated their busyness.
