Scientific Conference on The Omni-Channel Trade and Innovations

On 28 and 29 October at the Educational and Rehabilitation Facility of UNWE in Ravda was held the Scientific Conference on the Omni-Channel Trade and Innovations organized by the Economics of Trade Department. The actual topic attracted specialists from the practice, lecturers from various universities, Doctoral students and undergraduates. At the Forum took part also the Head of the Economics and Management of Trade Department at Varna Economic University and the Head of the Trade Business Department at D. A. Tsenov Economic Academy of Svishtov.

At the opening of the Forum

35 reports were presented about the new opportunities provided by the omni-channel trade to the business and consumers, the innovative decisions and radical changes in the field of trade and consumer experience. The major issues in the scientific discussions were the omni-channel trade and competitiveness, the marketing and management in the omni-channel trade, electronic and mobile trade, innovations, etc.

During the discussion

The participants in the meeting agreed with the thesis that in conditions of plural choice of channels the trade business could provide new opportunities increasing the value for the consumers and the management decisions require permanent reporting for the dynamic changes in conditions of digitalization and innovations in the field of trade.

The representatives of the three Departments and the business expressed their contentment with the Forum and their desire to continue the tradition of organizing scientific meetings every year.
