Application Documents

1. Application Form (Application);

2. A notarized copy of the Secondary School Diploma along with the Appendix of grades;

3. A document issued by a competent authority certifying that the applicant has the right to continue his/her education at the universities in the country where the secondary school degree was acquired.

4. A certificate of recognition of the Secondary School Diploma. This certificate is issued by the Regional Department of Education in Republic of Bulgaria.

The average grades for the required secondary school courses (Mathematics, Literature, Geography, History) from the Diploma, depending on the program for which the candidate is applying should not be lower than 62% from the maximum attainable grade according to the national grading system of the country where the Secondary School Diploma was issued.

5. A certificate of proficiency in Bulgarian issued by a university in the Republic of Bulgaria – for applicants who won`t pass through specialized preparatory language courses (it is required for applicants who will study in the programs taught in Bulgarian for Educational Qualification Degree of Bachelor);

6. A certificate of proficiency in English (it is required for applicants who will study in the programs taught in English for Educational Qualification Degree of Bachelor) - a Diploma or Certificate of:

-         TOEFEL Paper based - no less than 560 scores, or

-         TOEFEL CBIT - no less than 223 scores, or

-         TOEFEL IBT - no less than 84 scores, or

-         TOEIC - no less than 700 scores, or

-         IELTS - no less than 6,5 scores, or

-         CAMBRIDGE CAE, CAMBRIDGE PROFICIENCY- by B and C grades; 

-         CAMBRIDGE FIRST CERTIFICATE – by A grades;

Foreign citizens from English-speaking countries, whose training in secondary education was conducted in English and do not have one of the above documents will be admitted to training based on the results of the diploma on the subject "English".

7. A copy of the documents for citizenship – for applicants having double citizenship, one of which is Bulgarian;

8. Two photos – 3.5x4.5 sm.;

9. Administrative document submission fee – BGN 60

10. One copy of the full set of application documents. 

            Documents mentioned in p. 2 and 3 must be legalized, translated into Bulgarian and certified in compliance with the regulations set out international agreements of the Republic of Bulgaria with the state where the documents are issued from and if there is no such regulations – under the general rules for legalizations, translations and certifications of documents and other kinds of papers.
