I am convinced that being the largest business university in Bulgaria and South Eastern Europe where study 22 students the UNWE should have an authoritative Law Faculty. That`s why I have supported its development as Vice Rector and continue doing it as Rector. The Faculty has already have nearly 40 lecturers and a new Department of International and EU Law was opened in order to cover all legal fields, pointed out Prof. Stattev.

On behalf of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) greetings to the participants in the Conference were addressed by Mr. Vasil Todorov, Secretary General of BCCI. He greeted the Law Faculty for the ambitious initiative and expressed contentment with the fruitful cooperation between the UNWE and BCCI. He pointed out that the activity, daily work and cases under the consideration of the BCCI Arbitration Court as well as the business forums with international participation had been directly related to topic of the Conference so he supported the idea to be issued a collection as well as scientific research which the BCCI could spread among the interested institutions through its information channels.

The Forum is a clear evidence of the importance and interaction between the international and Bulgarian law in the dynamically changing environment and global process where only the legal point of view could give direction of proper development, declared in her greeting speech Prof. Dr. Irena Ilieva, Director of the Institute for Legal Studies at Bulgarian Academy of Science (BAS). She greeted the organizers for their choice of actual topic and expressed her conviction that the Conference would give an opportunity for scientists and Doctoral students to create platform for synergy between the Bulgarian and European law. Prof. Ilieva also supported the idea to be issued a collection available to all interested institutions.
