Join the ENGAGE.EU Hackathon Campus in the Metaverse

Dear UNWE students,

We are pleased to invite you to the Metaverse!

Next April 27th, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., you will have the opportunity to carry out a highly interactive training activity in the Luiss Campus at Viale Romania 32, Rome (The Dome 1): create your Campus in the Metaverse.

As you may know, UNWE is part of Engage.EU, an alliance of leading European universities in business, economics, and the social sciences, which aims to provide European citizens the set of skills and competences needed to tackle major societal challenges. These universities are: Luiss, University of Mannheim (Germany), NHH Norwegian School of Economics (Norway), Tilburg University (The Netherlands), University of National and World Economy (Bulgaria), Universitè Toulouse 1 Capitole (France), WU Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria).

This Hackathon is one of the Engage student events: the activity will be hybrid, and it is a great opportunity for you to learn to use Metaverse, get creative and build your ideal campus for welcoming new students, and meet international students from the other six institutions and interact with them.

You will be asked to design and build an international campus in the Metaverse - the next evolution of social connection-, each university involved in the project will contribute to its realization. You, and students from the other 6 Universities, will have to create the whole environment, choose the colors of the walls and the arrangement of objects in space.

Once the creation phase is complete, you will be able to move within the sections created by other groups, shift objects and furniture.

At the end of the activity, this virtual space will be available to all Engage.eu universities, and it will be possible for students to enter - and update - it.
