International Cooperation and Projects Division
As a university, we value the strength that comes from partnering with others. Our collaborations vary based on the societal challenges we face and our common goals.
In 2025, UNWE is implementing more than 80 research and educational projects supported by various national and international programs, including funding from the Bulgarian government, the EU (Horizon Europe and Erasmus), Interreg, and others. The academic staff and the leadership of the UNWE are well aware that scientists are morally obliged to support society and the country in their development. For this reason, the research activities of the university are also oriented towards applicable results and providing added value to the Government, Industry and Society at all. The key aim of UNWE in the field of research and innovation is to elaborate new solutions to economic, social and ecological problems and enhance the university’s contribution to innovations development as the most important driver for economic growth.
UNWE has various research and educational collaborations with other universities and organisations. Below you can find an overview of the various ongoing national and international projects and programs.
