Educational Objectives
The specialty is developed on the basis of consultations with the heads of leading Bulgarian companies engaged in international business and with representatives of the state administration that regulates this activity. It has a strong European orientation and corresponds to the latest trends in the development of the world economy. Relations with companies provide opportunities for the development of real projects, for the organization of internships and placements and for the selection of thesis topics related to specific organizations in Bulgaria and abroad.
The programme provides advanced knowledge of the theory and practice of international business and helps to shape ethical and professional behavior. The objective of the education is to prepare students for work in organizations with foreign business activities.
Professional Development
Graduates fulfil the specific requirements for positions in upper and middle management level in state and municipal administration as well as in companies with international activity. They have the necessary qualifications to work in international economic, trade and financial institutions as well as in multinational companies. Their knowledge and skills are also adaptable to the requirements of the institutions of the European Union.
