Educational Objectives

The specialty is inspired by the modern trends towards the decarbonization of economy and the transformation of business practices that contribute to slowing the climate change. The main objective of education in this specialty is to prepare a new kind of professionals with interdisciplinary knowledge of climate change and international business. Throughout the course students will learn about the modern trends in climate change and sustainable development and the measures taken at national and international level in this area. Various international business practices and strategies that are reshaping the international business and making it a driving force in addressing environmental and climate issues will be presented and analyzed. Graduates of the programme acquire the skills and knowledge of how companies can turn the regulatory constraint and increasing administrative requirements to comply with the principles of sustainable development which seem to require high costs and investments as their advantage and profitable asset by contributing to the greening of the economy through their daily activities.

   

Professional Development

Graduates have the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge of the nature and policies for implementing the principles of sustainable development and climate change as well as the opportunities for international companies to respond to these trends in a profitable way. This gives graduates a unique advantage for successful employment in international companies, in business organizations in the manufacturing sector of the economy, in the financial and banking sector, in the system of public administration and in the NGO sector.
