You are welcome to send your research abstract to the 7th REDETE Conference on entrepreneurship and economic development in transition countries which will be held on 24th – 26th October 2019 under the theme “New challenges facing transition and emerging economies”.
Transition and developing countries, particularly smaller ones, face many challenges that have been created by global political and economic adjustments. The world’s largest economies, such as the USA and China, in order to remain completive, frequently destruct global economic equilibrium, thus leaving little space to smaller and less developed economies to position themselves in the global market.
The aim of the 7th REDETE Conference is to encourage researchers, as well as practitioners and policy makers to contribute to our understanding of sustainable economic growth in the context of new global challenges.
Topics of interest include:
Entrepreneurship and innovation
* new firm formation and firm dynamics
* university-industry collaboration
* academic entrepreneurship
* innovation in transition economies
* entrepreneurial and SMEs financing
Regional development
* clustering and networking
* interfirm relations
* regional innovation ecosystems
* foreign direct investments
* role of banks and financial markets
* role of infrastructure
Cohesion policy and European identity
* population and migration
* social policy, poverty and exclusion
* migrant crises and migrant inclusion
* legal systems, corruption and inequality
* EU cohesion policy
