Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev Met with The Director of Jean Monnet EU Programme

The Rector of UNWE Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev met with Eleftherios Thalassinos, Head of the Maritime Studies Department of the University of Piraeus. The Greek Professor is  a Director of Jean Monnet EU Programme as well as a founder and Editor-in-Chief of three scientific magazines - International Journal of Economics and Business Administration, European Research Studies and International Journal of Maritime, Trade& Economic Issues. During the meeting in Rector`s office attended Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emil Harsev from the Finance Department and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Silvia Trifonova, Chairwoman of the General Assembly of Finance and Accountancy Faculty at UNWE.

The Rector awarded to the Greek guest the Commemorative Medal of Prof. Stephan Bobchev – Founder and First Rector of UNWE.

There were also discussed the conditions of signing a contract of mobility on the Erasmus Programme as well as a common framework agreement of cooperation between both universities. Prof. Stattev and Prof.Thalassinos also talked about the opportunities for mutual exchange of lecturers and researchers as well as the joint participation in European projects.
