Our University Organized a Meeting-Discussion on Cyber Security Issues with Representatives of the National CyberWatch Center, USA

Along with Prof. Dimitrov welcoming words were addressed by Dr. David Tobey from the Prince George Community College, Executive Director and Principal Investigator at the National CyberWatch Center, USA /in the picture below on the left/.

As one of the leading security experts Prof. Dimitrov focused on the current trends in the development of security: "People think that cybersecurity is only hardware and software but from my personal experience I have found out that it is related to many other systems essential for our whole social life, so people should be familiar with the topic, especially in the modern conditions of highly developed digital communication and digital work environment", emphasized Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov.

The meeting was organized by the National and Regional Security Department. In it took part Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noncho Dimitrov, Vice Dean for Quality and International Cooperation of the Economics of Infrastructure Faculty and Scientific Secretary of the National and Regional Security Department, Prof. Dr. Tsvetan Tsvetkov, Chief Assist. Dr. Nedko Tagarev, young scientists, cyber security specialists from the University and guests.
