On 23 April 2023 at the UNWE was held a preliminary examination in the format of State Matriculation Examination in Bulgarian Language and Literature and the results will be recognized for admission to our university. The organization and implementation of this examination is the result of an agreement between the Rector of the UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov and Galina Ushatova, Head of REGALIA SCHOOL Learning Center for the preparation of prospective students.

On 23 April 2023 at the UNWE was held a preliminary examination in the format of State Matriculation Examination in Bulgarian Language and Literature and the results will be recognized for admission to our university. The organization and implementation of this examination is the result of an agreement between the Rector of the UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov and Galina Ushatova, Head of REGALIA SCHOOL Learning Center for the preparation of prospective students.

In the exam took part 330 students both from REGALIA SCHOOL Learning Center and those who enrolled through the university's website willing to study at our university because the grade from this test exam is valid for the entrance exam at the UNWE.

Before the beginning of the exam lecturers from the University introduced the high school pupils to the conditions at the UNWE. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elena Simeonova, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the International Economics and Politics Faculty and Secretary General for Accreditation of UNWE, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yanko Hristozov, Secretary General for International Affairs and lecturer at the Finance Department, Chief Assist. Dr. Emilia Duneva from the Management Department and Chief Assist. Dr. Kristian Zhelev, lecturer at the International Economic Relations and Business Department, told about the advantages of the University and informed the high school pupils about the 6 professional directions and the specialties studied at the UNWE. They emphasized on the partnership of the University with business which provides opportunities for internships and good job positions. High school students learned that the University has modern equipped classrooms, 12 dormitories with 5 000 places and all the conditions for studying and living as well as excellent opportunities for sports at Bonsist Sports Complex.

This exam gives me more options because my score on the real matriculation exam might not be so high".
