8th Student Scientific Conference on the Economic Policy: Realities, Challenges, Perspectives

The Rector Prof. Dimitrov expressed his thankfulness to the organizers and participants in the Conference for their courage, persistence and enthusiasm. He outlined that the participation of students could give a huge impetus to their overall development, including the career one. "It shows that the person looks outside the frame, the person is active and has something to give. So the position of the UNWE Managing Body has always been to encourage such student events that give a smooth start in life, practice and business of young people, said the Rector and wished success to the Conference.

The Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Tsvetana Stoyanova noted that despite the emergency situation the Economics Department had held its annual Student Conference on the Economic Policy: Realities, Challenges, Prospects. "It is due to our students who show complex knowledge, very good thinking and a real desire to develop their reports and present them to the Forum," pointed out Prof. Stoyanova. She expressed her conviction that the topics of the Conference would provide recommendations for the development of the economy after the pandemic and wished the participants a fruitful discussion.

The Chairman of the Student Council Angel Stoykov greeted the participants and declared that despite the pandemic the students had managed to adapt, prepare their reports and present them online. He outlined that for a consecutive year the Student Council appeared to be co-organizer of the Student Conference of Economics Department. He expressed thankfulness to the Department for the joint work and cooperation over the years and wished success to the Forum.

Daniel Parushev also wished success to the Conference and encouraged the students to continue learning throughout their lives.

Moderators of the Forum were Chief Assist. Dr. Encislav Harmandjiev and Chief Assist. Dr. Ivan Bozhikin.
