Students from The UNWE Participated in The Press Conference of Prosecutor`s Office of The Republic of Bulgaria

Students from the Economic Sociology Department took part in the Press Conference of Prosecutor`s Office of the Republic of Bulgaria to present the results of their research related to the frauds by the phone as a crime. The Press Conference was held in the Conference Hall of Sofia Court House. At the event attended Prosecutor Rumyana Arnaudova, speaker of the Prosecutor General, Prosecutor Sava Petrov, Head of the Analytical Division at the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of Cassation, Chief. Assist. Dr. Georgy Petrunov from the Economic Sociology Department, the student girl Gergana Evstatieva, speciality Economic Sociology and the student Tsvetan Tsvetanov, speciality Sociology. The results of the research presented at the Press Conference were published in more than 50 printed and electronic media.

During the Press Conference

The research was initiated by the Prosecutor General Sotir Tsatsarov. It was implemented by a team of prosecutors from the Analytical Division and Pretrial Division at the Supreme Prosecutor`s Office of Cassation and by the participation of 12 students from the UNWE.

During the Press Conference as well as in the official information about the event were expressed special greetings for the successful participation of our students. “The Managing Body of Prosecutor`s Office of the Republic of Bulgaria expresses its thankfulness to all participating in the research students from the Economic Sociology Department at the UNWE and to Chief. Assist. Dr. Georgy Pertunov for the valuable help in the implementation of the research and preparation of analysis”, is pointed out in the greetings.
