Representatives of UNWE Visited The Norwegian University Agder on The Mobility Programme in EEA

Three lecturers from the Business Faculty – Prof. Dr. Diana Koleva from the Natural Resources Economics Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimitar Blagoev and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nikolay Shterev from the Industrial Business Department visited the University of Agder, Kristiansand, Norway in relation to the mobility project on the Innovative Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) – Key Factor for Enhancement of Competitiveness and Economic Growth financed on the Programme BG09 of the European Economic Area Grants Fund.

The objective of the visit was the good practices research and exchange of experience with the University of Agder in the field of innovative SMEs, investment and innovations in the innovative SMEs, competitiveness of SMEs and management information systems.  

Presentation of the state of innovative SMEs and Start-ups in Bulgaria to colleagues from the Norwegian University

During the visit were discussed academic programmes related to the innovative SMEs. A visit of the SMEs Incubator at Business and Law School of University of Agder and Students Center for Start-up Business was organized. An exchange of good practices was implemented and the experience of Norwegian colleagues in the communication and contacts with the business was discussed as well as the opportunities of initiating joint scientific research projects.

The Business and Law School and the Information Systems Faculty at University of Agder by the initiative of  the International Cooperation Division starts a procedure on signing of Interinstitutional Agreement on the Erasmus Programme which will give the opportunity of implementing the mobility of undergraduates, Doctoral students, lecturers and administrative staff.
