National Competition in Economics

The National Competition in Economics for high school students was held at the UNWE Test Center. At its opening attended Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Valentin Kisimov, Director of the Center for Computer Innovative Systems, Prof. Dr. Daniela Feschian, Deputy Chairwoman of the Association of Economic Schools in Bulgaria, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lilia Yotova, Dean of the General Economics Faculty, Chief Assist. Ivaylo Beev, Scientififc Secretary of the Economics Department, Kalina Gergova, Deputy Director of the National Trade and Banking High School (NTBHS).

For the first time at the UNWE Test Center

Prof. Dr. Daniela Feschian welcomed the high school students and set the beginning of the Competition.

On behalf of the UNWE Rectors Managing Body and Deans Managing Body of the General Economics Faculty Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lilia Yotova wished the participants success in the Competition.

Pupils from nine professional high schools of the country and members of the Association of Economic High Schools in Bulgaria were doing the tests in Economics for three astronomical hours.

Forty four pupils were awarded for their best results. According to the regulation of the Competition their results are recognized as successfully passed examination for prospective students at the UNWE in the subfield of Economics, Society and Human Resources for the academic year 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 which depends on whether they are in their 11^th or 12^th grade of education.

Before the beginning of the Competition in Economics

On 18 February at 13.00 o`clock at the Ceremonial Hall the Rector of UNWE Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev will award the Certificates to the winners in the Competition.
