Representatives of The Real Estate Property Department Visited The Institute of Technology in Kavala

Lecturers from the Real Estate Property Department visited the School of Management and Economics of the Eastern Macedonian and Thrace Institute of Technology in Kavala, Greece. The visit was implemented at the invitation of Dr. Dimitrius Maditinos, Coordinator for the Erasmus Programme.

The visit was a continuation of the meeting organized a month ago by the Real Estate Property Department with the municipal administration of Gotse Delchev town. During the meeting Prof. Dr. Yordanka Yovkova, Dean of the Business Faculty and Head of the Real Estate Property Department and Vladimir Moskov, Mayor of the town had agreed to establish contacts between the UNWE and the University of Technology in Kavala based on the good-neighbor relations between Gotse Delchev Municipality and Kavala Prefecture.

The Bulgarian delegation was met by the President of the Greek university Prof. Athanasius Mitropolus. He expressed his desire for exchange of students and lecturers between both universities on the Erasmus Programme as well as for cooperation in the elaboration of joint scientific research projects. Prof. Yordanka Yovkova confirmed the readiness of Bulgarian university for a partnership.

During the meeting

Our lecturers also met with the Heads of Departments and colleagues from the School of Management and Economics of the Greek university. The Coordinator of the Programme Dr. Maditinos invited the UNWE to join the university Prime Networking – Euroweek whose members are universities from 17 European countries. There were discussed the options for organizing joint scientific forums as well as the opportunities for printing scientific publications of our colleagues in magazines of the partner university.

During their visit the lecturers from the Real Estate Property Department went over the material facility of the Institute of Technology in Kavala and the sights of the town.
