Bulgaria Insurance Company Provides Three Scholarships for Master's Studies in Insurance and Social Work at Our University

As part of the partnership between the UNWE and Bulgaria Insurance Company Ltd., the Company will finance the studies of three students who have completed Bachelor's degree in Insurance and Social Work at the University and will continue their education in the same programme for Master’s degree.

The initiative is one of the concrete steps in the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the two parties. The agreement provides for the implementation of joint educational initiatives, practical training, public lectures, academies, internship programmes and projects that strengthen the relation between teh academic education and the business sector.

The Company will provide the scholarship holders with the opportunity to begin their professional careers by gaining firsthand knowledge of the various areas of the insurance business and developing their skills under the guidance of experienced specialists. Mentoring will include regular meetings, career development guidance and sharing practical experience.

By providing the three scholarships at Bulgaria Insurance Company we take another concrete step in our partnership with the academia, and in the preparation of motivated professionals for the insurance sector”, said Boris Boev, Executive Director and Member of the Management Board of Bulgaria Insurance Company Ltd. and Coordinator for the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation.

I’m sure that the investment of the insurance company in the eductaion of Master’s students in the Insurance and Social Work Programme will make an important contribution to the motivation and training of highly qualified specialists in the insurance field”, said Assoc.
