The Rector of UNWE and Representatives of CEZ Discussed the Opportunities for Preparing Specialists in Energetics

The Rector of UNWE Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev met with Peter Dokladal, Regional Manager of CEZ for Bulgaria and Peter Baran, Chief Operative Director of the Company. During the meeting were discussed the opportunities for cooperation between both institutions in order of preparing economic specialists in the field of energetics and for enhancing the qualification of the specialists in the sector. At the event attended also representatives of the Academic Managing Body of the university.

The Rector of UNWE Prof. D.Sc.(Econ.) Statty Stattev expressed his desire for participation of representatives of the managing bodies of large energy companies like Peter Dokladal and Peter Baran in conferences and seminars organized by the university on topics related to the energetics, distributive network and energy stock-market. It was discussed the opportunity for paid internship of students from the university in Bachelor`s and Master`s degree as well as the admission of eminent specialists working at the CEZ in Doctoral programmes at the UNWE.

“CEZ is a socially responsible company and it is an honour for us to support young people and help for providing a qualitative education and opportunity for professional development in the field of energetics. The partnership with the institutions is the first step in the right direction”, said Peter Dokladal, Regional Manager of CEZ for Bulgaria.

The suggestion of Prof. Stattev for preparing an Agreement of Cooperation between the UNWE and CEZ was accepted and its signing will be implemented in the autumn of 2015.
