The Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov in a Christmas Address: Knowledge Is Power, but Humanity Is a Direction!

Days before Christmas the Rector of UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov addressed to the lecturers, students, and staff members with wishes for a bright and peaceful Christmas and New Year bringing health, courage for new endeavors and confidence in the right direction.

During the Cgristmas holidays, when Christmas calls us back to our homes and to the things that matter, Prof. Dimitrov expressed words of gratitude and hope to the lecturers and staff members of our university: “A year of shared dreams and achievements has passed – the 105th year of UNWE not only filled the calendar with events but also gave it a pulse. The pulse of a community that moves forward, the pulse that has made our university the most preferable one in our country. This would be unthinkable without your dedication, professionalism, and sense of belonging.”

In his address the Rector emphasized that the most important lesson he would like the students to take with them is to be human beings. “Because the knowledge is power, but the humanity is a direction.”

”Let it be a year of successful meetings, inspiration, and an even stronger community!”, wishes Prof. Dimitrov.
