Winter School for Chinese Students from the Joint Bachelor's Programme with Hebei University of Economics and Business

Under the patronage of the Rector of UNWE Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, the second edition of the Winter School for Chinese students from the joint Bachelor's programme with the key partner Hebei University of Economics and Business /HUEB/ was held at the UNWE. As part of the initiative, 16 students from China visited Bulgaria and spent a week of training and cultural programme organized by the University.

Prof. Dr. Yanko Hristozov /in the photo above, on the right/ officially welcomed the students from the Chinese university at the UNWE. In their statements, they emphasized that our university actively develops its cooperation with HUEB and one of the key steps in this regard is the successful launch of the joint Bachelor's programme between the two institutions. The University leadership expressed confidence that such initiatives contribute to expanding the international partnerships and enriching the academic and cultural exchange between Bulgaria and China.

During their stay the students participated in intensive lectures prepared and delivered by the UNWE lecturers. The academic lectures were combined with a rich cultural programme, including a tour of Sofia, visits to emblematic places and an introduction to Bulgarian traditions and history.
