UNWE is One of the First Institutions Incorporated LIK Font on Its Website
As of today, the UNWE website has switched to LIK font which the Bulgarian News Agency /BTA/ provided as gift to the University on the occasion of its 105th Anniversary. The font was created by the National Academy of Arts by the order of BTA on the basis of the letters of the students of the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius and it is named after the restored LIK magazine that the Agency publishes. It is provided for free use by all public institutions of Bulgaria with the idea of achieving their uniform pattern. The UNWE Information Technology Directorate managed to implement the font in a short time on the large-scale website of the University.

"In Bulgaria, there aren't many registered fonts created by Bulgarians for the Cyrillic script", says the Director General of BTA Kiril Valchev. "Fonts that adapt Cyrillic to Latin characters and are developed by other countries are widely used. The new font is registered with the Patent Office and supports 205 languages."
"We are proud to introduce a truly Bulgarian font into our administration", said the Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov who received a document for the use of the font from Kiril Valchev earlier this year.
