Excellent Performance of Students from The UNWE in The Initiative “Be Literate”

Third year students from the speciality Media and Journalism took part in the first event for the current year from the campaign “Be Literate”. The event was held on 27 March in the building of the Bulgarian News Agency and it was organized by the Academica BG. Except the students from the UNWE in the campaign “Be Literate” participated students from the New Bulgarian University and St. Climent Ohridski University of Sofia. 

Our team

Iren Babacheva, Tea Daulova and Sabie Hadzhivezulova from the Media and Public Communications Department of UNWE made no mistakes and answered correctly all the questions by the organizers related to the correct writing, grammar and language culture. They demonstrated their excellent knowledge in linguistic semantics and science answering the questions by their colleagues without making any mistakes.

The national campaign “Be Literate” has been organized by the Academica BG since 2009. The objective of the initiative is to promote the correct writing and to stimulate the interest in the Bulgarian language. So far more than 120 events with 35 000 participants at all ages have been implemented.
