UNWE Has a New Patent for Corporate Interaction through Social Technologies Operating with Big Data

"System and method for inter-corporate and intra-corporate business interaction through social technologies operating with big data" – it is the full name of the patent issued on 18 July 2025 to the University of National and World Economy by the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria and signed by its Chairperson Mrs. Olya Dimitrova.

The inventors of the patent are Prof. D.Sc. /Econ./ Valentin Kisimov, Information Technology and Communications Department, Prof. Dr. Nikolay Shterev, Industrial Business Department, Prof. Dr. Tsvetana Stoyanova, Management Department, Chief Assist. Dr. Venko Andonov, Informatics Department, and Prof. Dr. Kamelia Stefanova, Information Technology and Communications Department.

The patent is related to the development of a system architecture for the operation of a social business network using artificial intelligence tools. It allows for the construction and management of information and information flow /through the use of big data and artificial intelligence in their processing/ that are created in various public information networks and systems. It leads to achieving a systematic integration of the social and economic effects of managing this business information. At the same time, the system architecture allows for the direct exchange of business data between the individual companies for increasing the business integration and achieving a competitive advantage.
