The Chairperson of the National Assembly and Four Ministers Honoured the UNWE with Awards

On the occasion of its 105th Anniversary the UNWE was honoured with awards and received numerous gifts.

The Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov received awards on the occasion of the 105th Anniversary of UNWE from the Chairperson of the National Assembly, the Minister of Education and Science, the Minister of Energy, the Minister of Justice, and the Minister of Youth and Sports.

The Chairperson of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova awarded to the Rector the honorary badge of the National Assembly, as well as copies of the Tarnovo Constitution, the Silver Constitution, and the Constitution of 1991.

The Minister of Education and Science Krasimir Valchev awarded to Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov an honorary plaque from the Ministry in recognition of his contribution to the development of Bulgarian education and scientific research, his dedicated efforts in preparation of generations of economists, and his role in strengthening the academic traditions in the fields of economics and management.

The Minister of Energy Zhecho Stankov awarded to Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov an honorary plaque from the Ministry of Energy as a sign of appreciation for the longstanding and fruitful partnership.

Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov also received a plaque from the Minister of Justice Georgy Georgiev.

The Rector also received a plaque on the occasion of the 105th Anniversary of UNWE from the Minister of Youth and Sports Ivan Peshev.

Prof. Dr. Miglena Temelkova, Rector of the University of Telecommunications and Post and Chairperson of the Council of Rectors of the Republic of Bulgaria awarded to Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov a commemorative plaque from the University of Telecommunications and Post.

Rayna Mandzhukova, Executive Director of the State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad, also awarded a commemorative plaque.

The Rector received a plaque from Maya Gesheva, Director of the National High School of Finance and Business.

The Regional Governor of Blagoevgrad Georgy Dinev also awarded a plaque to Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov.

On behalf of EY Bulgaria /Ernst & Young Bulgaria/, Prof. Dr. Daniela Feschiyan awarded to Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov a plaque and a certificate on the occasion of the 105th Anniversary of UNWE.

For its 105th anniversary the UNWE was awarded numerous Greeting Letters and video messages from various organizations in Bulgaria and abroad. All partners from the ENGAGE.EU European universities alliance extended their greetings to our university. Partner universities from Europe, the USA, China and India also sent their greetings as well as Bulgarian universities and the Council of Rectors.
