Santa Claus Was Welcomed with Smiles at Our University
Santa Claus visited the UNWE again. The youngest children welcomed him in the Maxima Aula with smiles and hugs. Nearly 70 children of lecturers and employees at age from 4 months to 12 years received gifts and a photo with the good old man. For the first time students and their children also joined the celebration.
The Rector Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov wished the children and their parents good health and happy holidays. "We talked with Santa Claus yesterday and he told that there will be presents for all the children because they have been great during the year", assured the children Prof. Dimitrov.
The Christmas programme surprised the attendees with the amazing performance of the Christmas play by the Children's Angel Choir participating in the programme with the assistance of Maria Delcheva from the Rector's Office /in the picture below/.
The children of the Angel Choir received gifts of appreciation from the children of UNWE.
Daniel Avramov from the Property Management Directorate played the role of the white-bearded old man and Kamelia Zamyarkova from the Secretariate was Snow White.
Assistants of Santa Claus were the cheerful girls Elitsa Karamiteva from the Secretariate, Liya Yoveva from the International Affairs Directorate and Nevena Ilkova, member of the Student Senate of the Student Council.
Assistant of Santa Claus was also Ana-Maria Barbutska from the Student Council of the Academy of the Ministry of Interior /in the picture below on the right/.
The celebration continued with a disco party and the good Christmas mood was ensured by DJs – the employees from the Technical Training Resources Division.
Maxima Aula was shinning with the smiles of both young and adults.
