A Framework Agreement between the UNWE and The Chamber of Independent Appraisers in Bulgaria

A Framework Agreement of Cooperation between the UNWE and the Chamber of Independent Appraisers in Bulgaria (CIAB) – Regional Body of Sofia-city and Sofia-region was signed by the Rector of the university Prof. D.Sc. (Econ.) Statty Stattev and Tatyana Ilieva, Chairwoman of the Regional Body Council. At the event attended the Rectors Managing Body, Prof. Dr. Snezhana Basheva, Dean of the Finance and Accountancy Faculty, Assist. Dr. Kalina Kavaldzhieva, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivan Mitev, member of the CIAB Board.

Our cooperation has serious prospects, pointed out the Rector. We will use our experience and our students and lecturers will obtain the opportunity to participate in various initiatives. You can organize round table conferences, meeting-discussions and we can provide a place for their implementation, organization and the appropriate publicity, added the Rector.

Prof. Snezhana Basheva outlined that the Framework Agreement will create better administrative and organizing conditions of cooperation between both institutions. The UNWE is the first university concluding such an Agreement with the Chamber of Independent Appraisers in Bulgaria. It is a great recognition for our young organization, pointed out Tatyana Ilieva.  

The Agreement was signed in the presence of the Rectors Managing Body.

Except for the mutual participation in practical and scientific forums the cooperation will contribute to the improvement of economic knowledge of our appraisers, said about the importance of the Agreement also Assoc. Prof. Ivan Mitev. He pointed out that the CIAB members could learn a lot from the UNWE as in the scientific field as also in the publishing one.

In the Agreement is provisioned a cooperation between both institutions in the implementation of student internships and opportunities for career development at the CIAB, an exchange of information and participation in scientific, academic, business and other kind of events, exchange of lecturers, organization of trainings, etc

From the UNWE for Coordinator on the implementation of the Framework Agreement was assigned Prof. Dr. Snezhana Basheva and from the CIAB – Tatyana Ilieva.  

The Chamber of Independent Appraisers in Bulgaria (CIAB) – Regional Body of Sofia-city and Sofia-region is established on 31 August 2009 in Sofia and it is approved by the CIAB Board on 24 March 2010. The Regional Body of Sofia-city and Sofia-region is a voluntary association of independent appraisers, members of CIAB.
