At The Regional Center for Distance Learning in Haskovo Were Met 166 First Year Students
It was officially opened the new academic year at the Regional Center for Distance Learning (RCDL) in Haskovo. At the opening attended Prof. Dr. Veselka Pavlova, Vice Rector of the university in the Education for EQD of Master of Science and Distance Learning, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jivko Draganov, Director of the RCDL-Haskovo, representatives of the regional and municipal administration.

Prof. Dr. Veselka Pavlova greeted the first year students on behalf of the Rector of the university Prof. D.Sc. (Econ.) Statty Stattev. She assured the newly admitted students that they had chosen an appropriate form of education which would give them an opportunity to combine the academic process with their working and family arrangements. “The main thing you have to remember is “a self-preparation”, reviewed the future tasks Prof. Pavlova and reminded that the first alumni of Bachelors of Science had graduated successfully from the RCDL-Haskovo in June.

The Director of the RCDL-Haskovo Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jivko Draganov (in the picture below) also wished the first year students success.
In 2014 at the Regional Center for Distance Learning in Haskovo will be educated 550 Bachelors of Science in the specialities Economics, Business Administration and Accountancy and Control. The first year students are 166 and most of them are alumni of the Financial Economic High School of Haskovo. Each of them was given the Student Book, a set of textbooks and academic materials for the first semester.
