Meeting with Dan Moore, President of The Southwestern Advantage

Dan Moore, one of the most successful managers in the world and President of the famous American company Southwestern Advantage delivered a public lecture at the university. The topic of his lecture was How to Be Successful and he decoded to students the opportunities for it.

The lecturer outlined that one of the most important things in life is “to love and know that you are loved”. Through examples he specified how the most famous and successful people in the world like Bill Gates or J. K. Rowling had achieved it. In order not to discourage the audience Dan Moore reminded that you couldn`t live without fallings but you shouldn`t have fear of failure. “When you want something hard do not let yourself think you can`t handle”, said the lecturer.

The key to success is "to have a conversation with yourself because it forms a picture of the person you want to become", pointed out the manager and added: “Be always a good friend with yourself”. Dan Moore outlined that the formula for success consists of perseverance in the pursuit of the goal, the ability to know what and why you do it and lack of fear of failure.
