Our Student Won A Prestigious Scholarship

Our student Monica Ivanova won the prestigious scholarship of the EVRIKA Foundation for the academic year 2013/2014 in the field of economics in the name of Acad. Evgeny Mateev. 

Monica is in her fourth year of education in the speciality Economics in the English language. In her biography she has already had many national and international awards, participations in scientific conferences, victories in European competitions and even a successful business at a university in Ireland. The girl`s name is associated also with organizations as the UNESCO, the students community Erasmus, the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Institute of Market Economics as well as with some of the leading companies in the global market. According to the student girl, however, the greatest recognition she has ever won so far and at that especial rivalry is the EVRICA Foundation scholarship. Monica Ivanova has always emphasized her belonging to the university and the UNWE is also proud of its student girl.

Several days ago at the National Polytechnic Museum in Sofia was held also the traditional meeting of leaders in the competitions for scholarships in the names of the ten eminent Bulgarian scientists of international reputation and contribution to the Bulgarian and world science. The most prominent Bulgarian students met each other and exchanged information and experience. Monica spoke also in the air of the Bulgarian National Radio and the call of the presenter was to remember not only the names of the famous scientists but also of their followers – the awarded students.
