Meeting of The European Facility Management Network
Our university and the Real Estate Property Department were hosts of the meeting of the European Facility Management Network. In the Forum participated more than 20 individual and collective members of the Network including representatives of the Bulgarian Facility Management Association.
At the Intellectual Property and Leadership Institute were held sessions and discussions in which participated representatives of prestigious European universities from Austria, England, Holland, Denmark, Norway, France, Romania, Germany and other countries.
The participants were greeted by Prof. Dr. Borislav Borisov, Honorary Rector of UNWE and Director of the Intellectual Property and Leadership Institute. Welcoming speech on behalf of the Rector of the university was read by Prof. Dr. Valentin Goev, Vice Rector on Scientific Research Activity.

Discussions in the Forum were focused on the education, research and good practices in the field of facility management as a new theoretical and business area oriented to the people integration, business processes and spaces by the provision of utilities and other services related to the operation of the real estate property in order to be increased the efficiency.
Participants in the Forum accepted the UNWE as a collective member of the Facility Management Network and approved the initiative of both the university and Real Estate Property Department for the opening of Master`s degree programme on Facility Management.
