Recognition of Linguistic and Socio-Cultural Competence of Our Alumni in Brussels
In Brussels was given a high assessment of the language knowledge and skills of our alumni in Master`s degree from specialities Economics of Tourism, International Economic Relations and International Relations working as translators at the European Commission. Recognition for their sociolinguistic and socio-cultural competence got Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daniela Koch-Kozhuharova, Head of the Foreign Languages and Applied Linguistics Department. Our lecturer was invited by the European Commission to the seventh consecutive conference devoted to the continuing education of interpreters.

At the Forum in September was discussed the high demand in European institutions from translators specializing in the field of economics, finance, law, etc. , as well as the opportunities to be provided such professionals in the future by the UNWE because of the specialized preparation of our students from specialities with advanced study of foreign languages.
