UNWE Improves Its Record, More Than 7 000 Prospective Students Want to Study at the University with the Highest Accreditation Rating
The largest economic university has improved its last year's record for the number of applicants. 7066 prospective students are ready to study at UNWE.
"We are grateful to the prospective students and their parents for their great trust in us. The highest accreditation score of 9.80 obtained by a Bulgarian university, the numerous awards, the close cooperation with the employers and the fact that the professional realization of our students at the labor market is almost 100% certainly contribute to this. But I would also like to express thankfulness to our lecturers, Departments and Faculties for making the UNWE recognizable and so desirable with their daily efforts", said the Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov. He also expressed thankfulness to the two Associations established by the UNWE to improve relations with the secondary schools - the Association of Business Schools in Bulgaria and the Association of Language Schools in Bulgaria - as well as to the partner municipalities - more than 20 ones over the last year.
The Educational Activity Directorate announced that those who have not yet arranged their preferences can log on to the Web Admissions System and do so up to 2 July. The winners of the UNWE National Competitions must submit their certificates with their ranking documents. The employees from Students – Bachelor`s Degree Division and the CALL CENTER /+359 2 90 52 999/ are available to answer any questions you may have.
“The first ranking list will be announced on 9 July and in the period 10-13 July 2024 is the deadline for confirmation or enrollment of rankings and confirmation of reserves after the first stage", said the Vice-Rector for Educational Activities Prof. Dr. Matilda Alexandrova. She clarified that the applications for ranking for admission to paid studies can be submitted during the entire period until the ranking is announced as well as during the additional admission. The application should be addressed to the Rector of UNWE and must be submitted onsite or through the Web Admissions System as it is valid to the first-choice admission for all 53 Bachelor`s degree specialities of UNWE, except for the admission to the Master's degree speciality of Law.
Since last year it has been possible for prospective students to view the minimum number of points and the number of reserves ahead of them. To do this, the applicants must log into their individual profile where they are then displayed. This allows them to assess for themselves how high their chances are of being admitted to the desired subject area. If they like the subject area for which they have been shortlisted, they can enroll online or onsite.
