The Rector Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, the Vice-Rector for International Affairs Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yanko Hristozov and the Head of the Accounting and Analysis Department Prof. Dr, Daniela Feschian visited Hebei University of Economics and Business.
During the visit the possibilities to launch two eight-semester Bachelor`s degree programmes taught in English language were discussed: Finance and Accounting / Commerce and Sales. Both programmes are actually operational in both universities and many students have graduated from them. During the negotiations, the curricula were analyzed and a large match was found, which is a compulsory requirement of China's Ministry of Education to fund the programmes.
The training will be conducted in English entirely on the HUEB campus and the UNWE will lead about 40% of the classroom hours by sending lecturers to China.
The programmes will train 240 Chinese students per year. If the programmes are successfully launched more than 960 Chinese students are expected to be enrolled in the programmes in the next four years.
